peacemakers

During January and February, Lower Elementary students honor "peacemakers," people who have changed our world by fighting for their beliefs with peaceful words and actions. As part of our Peace Education, we read about peacemakers and discuss what we can do to be peacemakers ourselves. This year, third year students each chose a peacemaker to research and then presented their projects to their classes.
