delaney carrier / chair
Always active in his community, Delaney joined the MVCS Board in 2022. He previously served eight years on the Franklin School Board and was recently elected to City Council in the city of Franklin. Delaney owns a self storage rental and local property management company in Franklin, NH, where he lives with his family, dogs, chickens, rabbits, and the rest of his menagerie. When he isn’t donating his time to the community, you can find him fishing in any season; two of his children are MVCS graduates.

robin goldstein / vice-CHAir
Robin is an Anthropologist and mom to four MVCS students. She values the MVCS educational model that inspires students to learn and drives their curiosity about the world as fundamental to getting kids to take an active interest in effecting change and being active members in their community. In her professional work, she has organized and carried out federally-funded community-based projects in both Peru and the US, managing budgets and employees in two languages. More close to home, she spent six years as the MVCS Family Committee Co-Chair and developed a community volunteer base for the school. She also serves as Secretary of her local library and as a Commissioner on the Rumney Conservation Commission. She currently works as an Adjunct Professor at the Air Force Culture and Language Institute, where she teaches topics in Anthropology.
Robin loves being outside in any weather, especially with her family.

lisa athanasia / treasurer
Lisa is a certified public accountant, and the co-founder of an accounting and finance firm based in Boston. Prior to founding her own company, she held Controller positions at various public and private companies in the retail space. Not only is Lisa passionate about “debits and credits” she enjoys the personal aspect of helping start-ups, non-profits and early-stage companies understand the value of maintaining accurate financials. She also serves on the State of New Hampshire Board of Accounting and is a part time personal trainer.
Lisa moved to Plymouth with her husband in 2015 and joined MVCS as a parent and Board member in 2022. When she is not working, Lisa enjoys trail running, baking, hiking and traveling with her family.

orian welling / trustee
Orian is the Chief of the Research and Engineering Division at the U.S. Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, where he leads a team of scientists and engineers tackling big challenges in extreme environments. Before joining CRREL, he was a Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group, helping businesses and governments with strategy and organizational design.
He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge as a Gates Scholar and his SB from MIT, where he received top honors in the School of Engineering.
Orian is passionate about education, community, and innovation. He and his family live in Wentworth, where two of his children attend MVCS. Outside of work, Orian enjoys bicycle touring—having cycled self-supported across the Americas, Africa, and Asia—as well as blacksmithing, metalworking, and hands-on renovation projects.

KELSEY GADWAH / TRUSTEE
Kelsey Gadwah recently joined the Board of Directors for Mountain Village Charter School after serving as the Black Bears lead teacher at the school for six years. She remains actively involved in the local community as a swim instructor and swim team coach. Kelsey is the proud mother of a three-year-old daughter and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She is passionate about supporting Mountain Village Charter School's mission and helping the school continue to grow and thrive for current and future students/staff.

will laughlin / trustee
Will Laughlin is the president and CEO of Blue Kite Collaborative, a group of innovative mental-health and education companies located throughout the U.S. After earning degrees from U.C. Berkeley and Stanford University, Will served as a classroom teacher for several years before starting his career as an education executive.
Will's work is inspired by his own early struggles as a student and the resulting belief that a school's job is to meet the needs of students, not the the other way around.
"Children should, first of all, feel safe, seen, and cared for at school. With that foundation, teachers can achieve magnificent results with all kinds of learners. Mountain Village understands this!"
Outside of work, Will likes to surf and spearfish and is a retired elite trail runner with several ultra distance records to his name. His favorite thing to do now, however, is just about anything with his his wife, Beth, son, Colton (9), and their Tasmanian devil*, Woody. After decades working and adventuring throughout the US, Asia, and central America, they are quite happily settled in cozy Rumney, NH.
