2021 plymouth holiday parade

This year, we are highlighting MVCS's commitment to foster a community connection with nature and the outdoors. We will be creating a mountain (of sorts) which we will carry down Main Street, surrounded by kids carrying backpacks and walking sticks, recreating both the "mountain," "village," and spirit of our school.

general design plan

Our “mountain” will be made from an A-frame-like structure, draped in white sheets that will be pulled out (gently) with ropes held by kids. Adults will carry the support posts. An image of the mountains that MVCS sits at the base of will be stenciled against a black sky (turbines and all!). We will line the mountain horizon with fairy lights and also light our “mountain” from within. Our kids will surround the “mountain” and walk with their backpacks and walking sticks.
