Give something new life at Family Committee’s Earth Day Upcycle event! Bring your own item or choose one of ours; FC will provide paint, sealant, decorations, etc to help you transform your trash into treasure. With Teacher Appreciation around the corner, this event is perfect to get your gift ready to show your love to our faculty and staff! Location TBD.
Join Family Committee to celebrate the Spring Equinox with a traditional “Sugar on Snow” festival, complete with a pancake breakfast cooked over an open fire! Location TBD.
Join a Quincy Bog volunteer in a tour around the bog- topic TBA. This walk ‘n talk will be geared toward Upper El and Middle School aged kids, though siblings are welcome. Details TBA.
Join us for a short hike on the Slim Baker trails and some snow sculpting!
Join the MVCS community at Winterfest, Round 2, for another day of outdoor fun! Ice skating, skee ball, face painting, ice sculptures and more. Make sure to keep an eye out for some some familiar faces at the Polar Plunge (proceeds benefit the NLRA)!

Join Family Committee to make lanterns for the Plymouth Holiday Parade, ornaments for the Plymouth and Bristol of Trees, and evergreen wreaths for an FC fundraiser!
Join a Quincy Bog volunteer to hear about the bog (topic TBA). This walk ‘n talk will be geared towards Lower Elementary ages, though siblings are welcome to attend. Look for the Quincy Bog walk ‘n talk for UE and MS kiddos in March.
Newfound Lakes Region Association Education Outreach coordinator Mirka Zapletal will take MVCS community members through the Hebron Town Forest.
Paddle with us on Squam Lake, courtesy of the SLA. Meet at the Squam Lakes Association Headquarters. Sign up ahead of time if you need a complimentary kayak or canoe HERE
Amey Bailey of the USDA Forest Service will give MVCS community members a tour of the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest in Thornton. The HBEF is the location of a long-term collaborative project that studies the effects of human and natural processes on the forest ecosystem.
